Let's build a Hugel! A HUGE Hugel! Hugelkultur is a foundational Permaculture technique. It creates no-till raised garden and crop beds that quickly become enduring features of a sustainable, edible garden. Created using only cast-off plant debris, Hugels magically hold moisture, sequester carbon, encourage mycorrhizal growth.  Our Second Saturday Cohort meets again! This month we’ll be focused on eradicating invasive plants on the perimeters of the arboretum. Join us to complete a critical task for protecting our arboretum and gain access to parts of the arboretum people don’t usually wander into.
