HPAC Meeting to Begin Discussion of Spray Park Design

The next Highland Park Action Committee meeting on Wednesday, May 25th. HPAC needs your design input! You may have already received a flier in the mail from Seattle Parks, and yes, it’s true – they are taking over the meeting to get citizen help in designing the Highland Park Spraypark, which will be replacing the now closed wading pool.

This is the first of three meetings, but the most important one as it will determine the course of things. HPAC helped secure the funding for this park, let’s make sure it looks like what the community wants!

HPAC meets at the Highland Park Improvement Club, 12th and Holden, doors open at 6:30 pm for a potluck dinner, and the meeting starts at 7:15 pm.

The closest Metro is the #128, which goes to 16th and SW Holden St.  The Improvement Club is on 11th Avenue SW, about a third of a mile further east.
