The Healthy Aging Partnership (HAP) is pleased to present an “Aging Your Way” workshop at the Fauntleroy Church, 9140 California Ave SW, Thursday, September 23, from 5:30 pm to 8:30 pm. Food and beverages will be available during the workshop.
This workshop is free and open to the public, intended specifically for adults age 55+. Come learn from experts about healthy living, emergency preparedness, lifelong learning, and civic engagement.
It’s important to think and plan ahead – for your own future. If you don’t, who will? This is especially true if you care about staying in your own community as you age and want to feel confident that your physical, mental and social needs will be met.
Be clear – existing resources, both local and federal, won’t meet the needs of the rapidly growing number of older adults in this country. Let your voice be heard, your needs be known and your plans be implemented. Please join us!
Also learn about grant funding available for teams of older adults that want to make Aging at Home a reality in their own communities. To register for this free event, click here or call 877-926-8300.
