Tox-Ick Runoff Prevention & Puget Sound Presentation @ Sanislo

Help Sanislo Elementary win $1,000 by Stopping the Tox-Ick Monster this Thursday!

If 50+ community members attend a presentation about Puget Sound this Thursday, then Sustainable West Seattle will award $1,000 toward a native plant education project at the school.

The 45-minute presentation gives an overview of the biggest threat to Puget Sound, polluted runoff, and teaches audience members simple lifestyle choices that can be made to stop the problem. FREE PIZZA will be provided. Stay for the community meeting afterward to discuss a “greenway” proposal to filter street stormwater on 21st and provide sidewalks for safe routes to school. Join us and receive a free native plant!
