The Department of Neighborhoods is hosting two workshops where you will learn
- How to use the Neighborhood Matching Fund to help you organize your neighborhood;
- About resources available for preparedness training and supplies;
- How to develop a competitive proposal for any NMF eligible project.
The Small and Simple fund application deadline is October 17. The workshops will be held on September 13 at the Ballard Library, 5614 22nd Avenue NW, from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm and on September 15 at the 2100 Building located at 2100 24th Avenue South in the Mt. Baker/Central neighborhood (between MLK and Rainier just south of where 23rd and Rainier cross).
Each of the workshops will have individuals who have been involved in matching fund grant applications for emergency preparedness who can provide tutoring and help answer questions from attendees.
