This year’s speaker is Sally Clark.  In her own words: “It’s an honor to speak at Coming Out Local, where the connection between a thriving, sustainable local economy and a community that celebrates diversity is out and proud. I see Out for Sustainability’s work changing Seattle’s idea of who is aware and active when it comes to living smarter in our city and on our planet.”

Out for Sustainability is also honoring Louise Chernin as their 2011 Honoree.  OUT for Sustainability is thrilled to honor Greater Seattle Business Association (GSBA) CEO Louise Chernin for her work leading our community. In her words, “to ensure that our nonprofits and small businesses are sustainable and incorporate wise environmental practices, as well as the values of diversity and inclusion in their daily practices.”

This year’s Head Chef for the Coming Out Local is  Zephyr Paquette. The dinner is in masterful hands again this year. We are excited to welcome back Zephyr Paquette to head up a team of four local queer chefs including Chef Delwyn Brooks, Chef Sarah Wong and Chef Joe Randazzo. In Zephyr’s own words: “I am honored to be a part of OUT for Sustainability for year number two and hope for many more to follow? OUT for Sustainability is an organization I believe holds true to my value system in many aspects. A personal mantra is ’I believe in greening the environment one raised bed at a time’.”

More details to come on the other 3 amazing star chefs. For information on Chef Paquette, visit outforsustainability.org.
