Seattle Parks and Recreation invites you and your family to meet the designers of the new play area and skatespot to be built at Roxhill Park. Whether you’re hearing about it for the first time, or are already actively involved, you to bring your ideas and creative thoughts to the initial public meeting.
At this meeting, Parks staff will outline the project scope and schedule, and learn what the community priorities are for transforming the play area and incorporatinga new skatespot into the park.
A skatespot is smaller than a full skatepark, but large enough to incorporate multiple skateboarding features. This skatespot is expected to be 8,000 square feet. For more information on Seattle Skatepark planning visit http://www.seattle.gov/parks/projects/Skatepark.htm
The meeting will occur Wednesday, Auguat 10, from 6:00 pm to 7:30 pm, at the Southwest Branch Library, 9010 35th Ave. SW.
