Our colleagues to the north of the Salmon Bay – Sustainable Ballard – are holding their Monthly Gathering Monday, March 28, starting at 6:30 pm and the topic is Alternatives to Petroleum for Transportation.
Addressing the many ways one can have a petroleum-free transportation system are these speakers:

- Martin Adams/Jim Bristow – New developments in battery technology
- Kathy Pelish and Fulvio Casali of Salish Sea Trading Cooperative – Wind power/sail transport
- Jimmy Wong of PanGreen – ride sharing and other sustainable transportation options
